Entry Forms Turned in to the Fair Office From:

  • Monday 2/14 to Monday 3/13 by 5:00 p.m.

Exhibit Accepted:

  • Wednesday 4/12 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Exhibit Released:

  • 4/17 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Limit:

  • 2 per class

Rules:

  1. Entry displayed on paper or other disposable plates covered with plastic wrap.

  2. Entry must be home prepared by the exhibitor -- no mixes.

  3. Entry must be correctly labeled.

  4. All edible entries may be disposed as deemed appropriate by the Fair.

Judging Criteria:

    Texture35%
    Flavor35%
    Appearance  30%

Division 200 - Breads:

    * One-half loaf and 1 slice

  • Class 1 - Dessert Bread (Banana, Date, Pumpkin, etc.)
  • Class 2 - Whole Wheat
  • Class 3 - White Bread
  • Class 4 - Any Other Than Above (specify)

Division 201 - Biscuits, Rolls & Muffins:

    * Four rolls, biscuits or muffins only -- three are for display

  • Class 1 - Biscuits, baking powder or buttermilk
  • Class 2 - Sweet Rolls, any kind
  • Class 3 - Rolls, any kind
  • Class 4 - Muffins, any kind
  • Class 5 - Any Other Than Above (specify)

Division 202 - Breads from a Bread Maker:

    * One-half loaf and 1 slice

  • Class 1 - Raisin Bread
  • Class 2 - Sourdough Bread
  • Class 3 - White Bread
  • Class 4 - Whole Wheat
  • Class 5 - Any Other Than Above (specify)

Division 203 - Coffee, Cheese, Bundt, Loaf or Pound Cake:

    * One-half cake plus 1 slice

  • Class 1 - Coffee Cake
  • Class 2 - Bundt Cake
  • Class 3 - Cheese Cake
  • Class 4 - Loaf Cake
  • Class 5 - Pound Cake
  • Class 6 - Any Other Than Above (specify)

Division 204 - Layer Cakes:

    * One-half cake plus 1 slice

  • Class 1 - White
  • Class 2 - Yellow
  • Class 3 - Chocolate or Fudge
  • Class 4 - Any Other Than Above (specify)

Division 205 - Decorated Cakes:

    * A mix, styrofoam or cardboard form may be used, provided the shape of the cake is one which could reasonably be achieved through baking a regular cake.

  • Class 1 - Birthday
  • Class 2 - Holiday
  • Class 3 - Wedding
  • Class 4 - Fair Theme
  • Class 5 - Any Other Than Above (specify)

Division 206 - Bar Cookies:

    * One-half dozen only -- 5 are for display

  • Class 1 - Brownies
  • Class 2 - Fruit Bars
  • Class 3 - Nut Bars
  • Class 4 - Any Other Than Above (specify)

Division 207 - Cookies:

    * One-half dozen only -- 5 are for display

  • Class 1 - Chocolate
  • Class 2 - Chocolate Chip (Tollhouse)
  • Class 3 - Fruit
  • Class 4 - Nut
  • Class 5 - Oatmeal
  • Class 6 - Peanut Butter
  • Class 7 - Sugar

Division 208 - Confections:

    * Enter 6 pieces -- 5 are for display

  • Class 1 - Brittle
  • Class 2 - Fudge
  • Class 3 - Divinity
  • Class 4 - Taffy
