Entry Forms turned in to Fair Office from:

  • Monday 2/14 to Monday 3/13 by 5:00 p.m.

Exhibit Accepted:

  • Wednesday 4/12 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Exhibit Released:

  • 4/17 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Limit:

  • 2 per class

Rules:

  1. EXHIBITS SHALL BE MAINTAINED FOR THE DURATION OF THE FAIR. Perishable fruit and vegetables must be maintained in fresh condition during the entire show period and must be replaced when necessary. Failure to comply with the rule may be considered reason for disqualification of the exhibit and forfeiture of award. (When fruit or vegetables spoil, Fair management has permission to dispose of same.)

  2. NO EXHIBIT MAY BE REMOVED FROM THE FAIRGROUNDS WITHOUT RELEASE FROM FAIR MANAGEMENT.

  3. Variety of product must be adequately and correctly labeled. Unlisted varieties may be entered for "Exhibition Only". If found to have commercial merit, they may be added to the premium list for the following year.

  4. The quality desired in agricultural products exhibits is the quality that brings the best financial return in the commercial market, and such exhibits must be at least equal in maturity as that state of ripeness required by Section 42513 of the California Agricultural code in order to be considered for premium awards.

    * Section 42513: "Mature means having reached that state of ripeness which will insure the completion of the ripening process to a degree which will insure viability after the removal of the product from tree, plant, or vine.

    * Section 42515: "Overripe means having an advanced state of maturity which causes the product to be undesirable for human consumption in a fresh state."

    * Unless otherwise stated, the type of vegetable desired for exhibit will be the uniform commercial grade rather than overgrown. Each exhibitor may have two entries per division.

Division 103 - Novelty, Largest, Oddest, Most Unusual:

  • Class 1 - Any Variety (specify)

Division 104 - Nuts:

  • Class 1 - Any Variety (specify)

SPECIAL ALFALFA AWARDS:

  • Division 105 - Alfalfa:

    • Class 1 - Any Variety (enter 1 bale of any size)

        1st Place$150
        2nd Place  $100
        3rd Place$ 50

        * Bales will be prominently displayed during the Fair and given to a 4-H or FFA organization after the Fair.

        * Bales will be judged on weight, quality of construction and content.
